Mobile-First Design · Arvoden Slik
Where your questions get real answers
Arvoden Slik brings together specialists and students from across Ukraine through structured live sessions on mobile-first design. Each consultation is focused on practical challenges — layout decisions, viewport behaviour, touch targets — not abstract methodology.
What a consultation actually covers
Viewport and breakpoint logic
Most layout failures happen because breakpoints are chosen arbitrarily rather than at real content stress points. Sessions walk through how to identify where your specific layout breaks and how to address it without writing redundant override rules.
I came with a specific navigation problem on narrow screens. Within forty minutes we had a working solution and I understood exactly why it worked.

Session format and timing
Sessions run between 45 and 90 minutes depending on topic depth. You submit a brief description of your question in advance so the specialist can prepare relevant examples. Live screen review is available when you share your current work.
Who attends these sessions
Students enrolled in mobile-first design tracks, working designers who want a second opinion on a specific interface decision, and developers who have inherited a codebase that never had a responsive strategy to begin with.
Geography has not been a barrier since Arvoden Slik started in 2021 — participants join from Lviv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Uzhhorod, and everywhere in between. The format was built for distance from the beginning.
Touch targets and interaction design
Button sizing, tap area padding, scroll gesture conflicts — these are common failure points that rarely get proper treatment in design courses. The consultation digs into your actual UI rather than generic recommendations.
Accessibility on small screens
Contrast ratios shift differently on OLED and LCD panels. Font sizing at 375px needs deliberate handling. Sessions include a review of WCAG compliance as it applies specifically to mobile contexts, not just desktop-ported guidelines.
Component architecture review
When a component works on desktop but collapses on mobile, the problem is usually structural rather than stylistic. Specialists review component hierarchy and suggest restructuring that holds across all breakpoints without conditional overrides.
Consultations are not lectures. The direction of each session follows what you bring to it — your layout, your code, your specific constraint. A specialist prepares based on your submitted brief and the time is spent on your actual problem, not a general walkthrough.
To book a session, use the contact form or reach out directly at help@arvodenslik.com. Include a short description of the challenge you are working on. Sessions are scheduled within three working days of request confirmation.
If your question is exploratory rather than problem-specific — for example, you want to understand how to approach a responsive strategy for a new project — that is a valid starting point too. Specialists adjust the session format to match whether you need answers or a structured conversation to clarify your own direction.
